Pianist/composer Anne Sajdera will be back at Mr. Tipple's on Friday, November 8th (6-8:30pm), with an extraordinary quintet, celebrating her latest release (It's Here) and her birthday. Listeners can expect her customary groove-focused perspective and exhilirating harmony with Mike Olmos (trumpet), Jesse Levit (alto sax), Peter Barshay (bass), and Deszon Claiborne (drums) performing selections from the new album, as well as music of jazz masters Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Larry Willis, Roy Hargrove, and Wynton Marsalis.
Mr. Tipple's is one of San Francisco's most dynamic jazz venues and features the Bay Area's finest jazz artists five nights a week, where listeners can comfortably enjoy delicious dim sum and a wide selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.
